Do not administer this medication to children under 12 years old unless directed by a doctor.
Older adults may be more susceptible to the side effects of this drug, particularly mental/mood changes (such as confusion), seizures, or unusual tiredness.
Famotidine should only be used when clearly necessary during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
This drug passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
