Share the gadget thoroughly before using it. If the inhaler is fresh, hasn’t been used in two weeks, or was dumped spraying into the air first. Ensure that the spray is directed away from your face. If the gadget emits a fine mist, it’s operational.
As directed by your prescribing physician, inhale the medicine orally. One or two puffs every four to six hours, as needed, is the standard approach. Whether you need one or two puffs per dose will be determined by your physician. Wait approximately a minute between puffs if you need two. When taking this medicine, you should utilize a spacer. If you’re interested in spacers, talk to your doctor or a pharmacist. If you’re using this medicine to treat asthma brought on by exercise, take two puffs fifteen to thirty minutes before you start working out.
Increase the dosage or frequency only after talking with your prescribing physician. Too much of a good thing can have serious, even fatal, consequences. Understand the difference between your regular inhaler and your quick-relief inhaler. Use the rapid-relief inhaler only when absolutely necessary.
If you notice any new or worsening symptoms, call your prescribing doctor.
