Indications
- Rexulti is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults.

- Rexulti may also be used as an adjunctive therapy for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults, when used alongside an antidepressant medication.
Dosage and administration
- The recommended starting dosage of Rexulti for schizophrenia in adults is 1 mg orally once daily.
- The dosage may be increased to a target dosage range of 2 to 4 mg orally once daily, based on individual response and tolerability.
- For the adjunctive treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults, the recommended starting dosage of Rexulti is 0.5 mg orally once daily.
- The dosage may be increased to a target dosage range of 1 to 3 mg orally once daily, based on individual response and tolerability.
- Rexulti can be taken with or without food.
- It is important to take Rexulti at the same time each day as directed by your healthcare provider.
- Do not stop taking Rexulti suddenly without consulting your healthcare provider, as abrupt discontinuation may lead to withdrawal symptoms.
- If a dose of Rexulti is missed, take it as soon as remembered, unless it is close to the time of the next scheduled dose. Do not double the dose to catch up.
- Store Rexulti at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
Side effects
- Common side effects of Rexulti may include weight gain, akathisia (restlessness or inner agitation), and sedation.
